Tuesday, June 4th, took friend, Donna, to Porcupine Bay to thin out some of those pesky Walleyes. Met up with Tom and Dianne Fischer on the water, and proceeded to Buoy Five area. Both boats pulling spinners managed 6 to 8 fish in 20 to 30 feets of water. Fish were all small, 15 to 16 inches. I later got an 18 at "Sam's spot". (now you have to figure out which Sam, and try to finagle the spot) Big story of the day was the 14 lb Walleye we found floating tummy up in the middle of the lake in front of Porcupine campground. Oh yeah, Donna caught her first Walleye.
