Meet at Sampsons Pit public launch, 0900 AM.

Our third Club Fish Day is scheduled for Potholes Reservoir on July 9th. Sampson’s Pit Boat launch has a very large somewhat paved, but mostly graveled parking lot. You can stay in the parking lot overnight without paying a fee. Some campers circle up and have a camp fire if allowed. There are no hookups, but two pit toilets are available.

Mardon Resort, about a mile west of the boat launch, features full hookups and/or tent camping with full bath & showers. The resort has a small store featuring some food and a cafe, but mostly stocks tackle. They have an excellent pay launch and boat gas at the launch.

Fishing should be very good this time of year as the reservoir is usually full pool.
