Westport Fishing Trip Details

This is no ordinary bottom fishing trip.  We will be going out 20-30 miles and fishing in water several hundred feet deep.  Here are the trip details:

Trip date- Monday, September 16.  We will be leaving Sunday, home on Tuesday

Trip cost is $350.00, plus $40-50 tip/fish cleaning to the deckhand.  Motels and camping available in Westport.  Rates are reasonable.

We have 8 spots on the boat.  You must pay the $350 trip cost to me no later than the July meeting, as we must confirm our reservations no later than August 1.

You can pay me at the picnic or the July meeting, but it would be best to mail me a check:

Again, we have 8 spots on the boat.  Two are reserved so six are left.  If you intend to go, call me.  When you pay, your spot is reserved.

I will be sending a detailed itinerary with Westport motel info and all trip details right after August 1.

You do not need to bring any tackle- all tackle is supplied.

A caveat- this is a very strenuous trip.  It is hard work fishing in deep water, but it is so worth it (see the pictures).  Captain Steve Westrick is a fantastic captain and he will get us on fish.

This is the first time we have done something like this as a club.  I am very excited to see us get together for something really different.  I have fished with Steve probably 25 times- nobody better in the business.  Join us!
