Club Support for Kids Projects

The Spokane Walleye Club donates time and money to kids fishing projects. Club members participate in the planning and execution of Spokane Kids Fishing and C.A.S.T for Kids. Money for these projects is generated largely by our annual raffle.

Spokane Kids Fishing at Clear Lake

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife teams up with several local organizations (including the Spokane Walleye Club) to provide a fun angling experience for kids in the Spokane area. Fishing action is fast and furious in an area stocked full of trout. Children receive a "Kids Fishing" t-shirt, a Zebco rod and reel, and the chance to catch a three-fish limit of trout. This event is open to kids ages 5 to 14. Pre-registration is required. Kids Fishing is held the first Saturday in May.
