Ken L. and Gordon O. at Fort Spokane on 7/1
Ken and Gordy braved the heat on Lake Roosevelt on Monday. They got an early start and headed up to Nayborly Cove (about 8 miles north of confluence of Spokane R and Columbia R). They hit several flats and drop offs between Nayborly and Seven Bays. Fishing was slow. They got 6 walleyes fishing spinners behind bottom bouncers. The fish were pretty small.
Seven Bay Marina had a high temperature of 101. Fishing in that kind of heat takes a special kind of dedication.
