Club Fish Day: Snake River - 10/6

Fishing was tough. A powerful cold front several days before our arrival produced a dust storm followed by several days of much below normal temperatures. Between members of our club and other local fishermen in camp, most boats averaged 0 to 2 walleyes per day. Fishing was better for other species with several boats catching the occasional catfish, a few nice sized perch, and lots of small bass. Even though walleyes were tough to find, several large ones were caught including ones measuring 31 inches, 29 inches, and 26 inches. All big walleyes were released.
