Greg: Roosevelt - 7/10

I took my time getting to the lake on Friday. It was nearly 1 PM by the time I started fishing. The high temp was in the upper 70s with lots of sunshine and a 5 to 10 mph wind. Fishing was slower than I expected. I had only 5 keepers in my live well by 8 PM. I had fished 7 or 8 reliable spots, and decided to try one more before quitting for the day. A weed bed that had been exposed to the wind all day finally yielded another 6 or 7 walleyes and several other bites that I missed. I ended the day with 10 keepers between 14 and 20 inches.
