I made the run up to North Gorge campground for an overnighter. I got there mid afternoon on Labor Day as others were leaving the lake. I fished from 430 PM to 8 PM on Monday and got 12 keepers. I got on the water around 830 AM on Tuesday and fished until 2 PM and got another 9 keepers. Most of the walleyes were between 15 to 16 inch fish, but several were too small to keep. I got a couple 18 inchers, but wasn’t able to find nice sized walleyes consistently. The water temperature was 53 degrees. Lake level 1271 feet and rising.
