I got a late start and arrived at Porcupine Bay late in the morning. Areas that I caught walleyes the previous week were unproductive. I fished from noon to 330 pm making several moves before I got my first bite. I ended the day around 530 pm with 9 keepers measuring between 15 and 17 inches. The bites I got were subtle., and I missed a lot of bites. It was a bright sunny day with temperatures in the 50s. The wind was gusty out of the northeast, but I found many places to fish that were out of the wind. The water temperature was 48 degrees. Water level 1281 feet.
