My 15 yr old son and his friend wanted to give fishing on Roosevelt a try. Max had never caught a walleye before, so we had a mission. It didn’t take too long to find walleyes that were anxious to bite. Between noon and 3 pm, we got 11 keepers. Max caught the biggest of the day at 19 inches. The other walleyes were between 14 and 16 inches. The water temperature was 68 degrees. Air temperature was 85 with a light west wind. And the water temperature was 68.
