Greg and Allan: Roosevelt - 9/19/2024

Allan joined me at Lake Roosevelt for Day 2. We didn’t get on the water until almost noon and we fished until 6 pm. The Spokane Arm was slow. We got 4 keepers ranging from 14 to 17 inches and tossed back 6 or 8 walleyes that were only about 10 inches. We tried a lot of spots and marked very few fish. The main lake appears to be fishing better than the Arm at this time. The weather was great, and we enjoyed a grilled fish dinner on the boat before sunset. Fish tacos!!!

Walleye marinaded in lime juice, garlic, cumin, and olive oil. Shredded cabbage, salsa, mango, and a sour cream and sriracha sauce.

Or a sushi taco if you are hungry and impatient. Undersized walleye and taco shell were released.
