Greg, Allan, Kendall, Craig: Roosevelt - 5/28-31/2025

Allan’s friends from Minnesota and Georgia came to Washington for several days on Lake Roosevelt. They were treated to some fantastic fishing. Allan had been scouting spots on northern portions of Roosevelt for a week and a half, so he knew exactly where to take them. I joined the crew on the 29th giving us two boats to divide and conquer. On a short day, Allan and his buddies caught 18 walleyes the 28th. On the day I arrived (29th), we caught 42 walleyes and filled Allan’s RV freezer. On the 30th and 31st, it was mainly catch and release with over 50 walleyes boated on the 30th and over 30 eyes on a hot and windy day the 31st. Allan got big fish for the trip with a 28 inch walleye. Greg got a 27. The majority were in the 15 to 18 inch range, but each day several over 20 inches were brought to the boat. The lake level was 1274 to 1276 feet with very good clarity. Water temperature was 54 degrees.
