Greg and Gordon: Roosevelt - 6/3-4, 2025
My in-laws were in town for 10 days in early June. When Gordon and I saw the forecast for good weather on the 3rd and 4th, we took his RV to Roosevelt for a couple days of walleye fishing. We enjoyed good fishing, beautiful scenery, and productive fishing. We got 17 keepers on Tuesday fishing from 1 PM to 6 PM. On Wednesday, we got 16 keepers including 3 walleyes around 20 inches. In general, walleyes were in the 15 to 17 inch range, perfect size for a nice fillet. Gordon went back to Illinois with plenty of walleye for his freezer. The water temperature was 57 degrees with excellent water clarity. Lake elevation was 1277 ft and rising.
