Ken L: Potholes - 11/1
On Nov. 1st a friend and I went fishing at the Potholes, We started fishing several humps in front of and west of the mouth of Crab Creek in 12 to 15 ft. of water. This produced a five or six walleye and numerous Perch. As the morning went on, we fished down the whole area in front of the dunes. We started fishing in 25 to 30 ft, of water and seemed to pick up a little bigger walleye. About 1:30 pm the wind came up and boat control got too difficult. With the wind, the bite seemed to stop so we called it a day. Orange and gold blades with orange and yellow beads worked best. We kept 6 fat walleye 16 to 19 in., a bucket full of perch, 2 large smallmouth and a catfish bullhead, If you go there to fish take plenty of worms.
