Mark and Linda M: Moses Lake - 4/21

Monday 4/21/14 at Moses Lake, Mark & Linda McFall

We started at about 11:00 AM and limited out (8 each) at a good spot on Moses Lake on Monday 4/21/14, however don't understand why it was so productive as there is no structure there at all.  The bottom is flat in this whole area at about 30'.  We got one trolling a green smile blade with chartreuse beads and all the rest using Tim Bohr's recommended white smile blade and red beads and one white one.   We trolled between this spot (Lat: N 47 degrees 04.661' -- Long: W 119 degrees 19.598'), where we did the best, and #98 on the fishing map, which is just off that point (with the big yellow house and antenna) to the north of Gailey's Island.

The Walleye are on the small side at 12-16" - same as we found when we went there on 4/10.

We launched at Moses Lake State Park, which is just off the 90 Fwy.  We also learned that the northernmost launch by the airport is only open Weds - Sun.
