Allan and Linda: Roosevelt - 7/4-5

Sunday July 5 was a sad day.

Linda and I were fishing the Kettle River and I caught two northern pike.

One 26” and the other 30 inches.

I spoke with the WDFW  and the Spokane Tribe and for the next 6 to 12 months they are collecting NP heads and scales to micro biology and chemistry analysis.

They are able to determine whether the NP spawned in the KR or if they were transplanted. WOW.
