Allan: Snake River - 6/30-7/1
I talked with Allan on the phone last night. He experienced his best trip ever on the Snake River. He arrived Thursday evening and landed a 9.7 pound walleye that measured 28 inches before dark. On Friday morning, he got his new personal best 11.1 pound walleye that stretched to 29.5 inches. He also landed a handful of keeper sized walleyes (15 to 20 inches) on the trip, but released most of them.
More info: Allan will likely submit a complete report soon, but it sounds like trolling deep diving crankbaits was the ticket. He targeted 20-25 feet of water between Little Goose Dam and the bridge at Lyons Ferry.
