Club Fish Day: Moses Lake - 4/29

We had a 4 boat caravan leave from Spokane on Saturday morning. A couple other boats got to Moses Lake on Friday and joined us fishing Saturday. We launched out of Connelly Park. The launch and picnic area is a very nice facility! Fishing was poor. We caught a handful of walleyes, a couple perch, and some bullheads. Our members were surprised to see the number of boats and high fishing pressure the Rocky Ford Arm received. We saw very few fish netted during the day. There was a bass tournament, but most anglers were targeting walleye.

More info for Club Members: Sanford and Brad (new member), Allan and Lyle, Greg and Vince (new member), Gordy and Don/Sharon B, Bill F, and Rudy B fished Moses Lake on Saturday. Most of us started the day by going up the Rocky Ford Arm into a group of 30 to 40 boats. Most of the boats were pulling bouncers in 6 to 13 feet of water. Very few fish were being caught in this shallow area of flat and sandy bottom. Ultimately, Allan and Lyle and Vince and Greg found a few fish within a mile or two of Connelly Park in water between 13 and 19 feet. Orange or Red smile blades with Slow Death hooks caught the majority of fish.
