Travis S: Roosevelt - 6/29

Travis fished the evening bite on Roosevelt Thursday. He caught a mixed bag of walleyes and smallmouth bass. He estimated 15 to 20 walleyes and several smallmouth. Most of the walleyes were in the 12 to 16 inch range, but he did catch and release a 27 incher.

More info for club members: Travis launched out of Ft Spokane and ran up to "The Narrows". The majority of walleye and bass were caught casting crankbaits onto rocky shelves. One of the most productive areas was near a white marker buoy at the bottom end of the Narrows. The big walleye came in that vicinity of the marker buoy fishing deeper with a bouncer and crawler.
