Greg K: Long Lake - 4/11

First day on the water this year. The good news is my boat and rebuilt trolling motor worked well. The weather was also decent with a bit of sunshine in the morning. Cloudy in the afternoon. The wind was generally less than 10 mph. My fishing was poor. I caught 2 pikeminnows in 5 hours of fishing. No walleyes. Tried trolling Slow Death rig and double hook worm harnesses in several spots. I also tried jigs and blade baits from 8 feet to 30 feet. Water clarity was about 1 foot. Water temp 42 degrees.
