Ken L and Greg K: Banks Lake - 5/20
Ken and I fished the evening after the Banks Lake tournament. We spent about 3 hours and only had 1 walleye and a perch to show for it. The sun was bright and the water flat. Tough fishing.
More info for club members: The only walleye we picked up was outside of Jones Bay in 13 feet of water. We also tried trolling crankbaits in the Devil's Punchbowl south of the campground. There were a half dozen other boat in that area. Most of them were trolling crankbaits as well. We saw no fish caught, but one of the boats claimed that the fishing was very good there on Friday. That area received a good deal of pressure from the tournament. Fish evidently moved out.
