Travis S: Snake River - 9/22

Travis went down to the Snake River on a very windy Saturday. He left the boat at home and fished from shore with a couple buddies. This is his text message.

We did poor.....conditions were good ....the waves were the biggest I've seen on a WA lake, ever.....there were some 4 footers in there.......  We fished from shore by the dam.  Lost half my tackle box to snags.......6 or so cranks and prolly 10-12 blade baits........  Couldn't figure out why till it dawned on me......... There is a false bank that runs along the whole North edge about 15 foot out .....the depth drops by 5-6 feet, sharply......even shallow runners run into that wall when retreiving.......  We got 2 walleye and 7 smallmouth
