Allan: Roosevelt - 5/21-22

Allan had no luck fishing the Colville, Bradberry, and the Kettle River areas on the 21st.

On the 22nd, he had good luck fishing the island below China Bend. Despite fighting a stiff northeast wind, he managed to catch 15 nice walleyes (many around 17 inches) along with a 12.5 pound northern pike. Most fish were caught trolling a bottom bouncer with a chartreuse and red speckled smile blade/slow death hook. The water level was not yet high enough to launch at China Bend so he made the long run from Kettle Falls.
