Fished the Spokane Arm launching at Porcupine Bay and headed up to buoy 1. Started with a white smile blade on one pole and a Yellow hard blade with black dots on the other. Caught a couple eaters and several 1 year old dinks. That would end up being the theme of the day. Moved to the weeping wall caught a couple eaters and several 1 year old dinks. Moved to buoy 5 caught a couple eaters and several 1 year old dinks. Moved back to the weeping wall. Then to buoy 1 then to blue creek. Caught a couple eaters and several 1 year old dinks. Ended the day with 30 total and 12 eaters 20 being the largest.
There are a lot of 2019 year class fish in the system. We caught about 10 of them and several of the 2018 year class. Good news for walleye fishing in the coming years.
Fish were scattered from 14 to 38 fow. No concentrations.
White blades 1.1 inch and white blade with purple strips Ken special) were the ticket. Tried jigs and blades nothing to speak of caught. Went thru almost 3 dozen crawlers
