Travis and Lyle: Roosevelt - 7/10

Lyle and I spent the first half of the day on Roosevelt. We were a bit late to max the morning bite, but we pulled 7 eyes with the biggest being 17". We also caught a few bass w/ Lyle pulling a 3.5 pounder. Early method was pulling bouncers and worm harnesses in the Narrows in 28-35 foot. Chartreuse was the color and they definitely preferred smiley blades over small Colorado blades. Later in the day, every ski boat in Eastern WA showed up, se we fished the mudclouds pitching Flicker shads up into them. Between the wakes and the wind, boat control was a challenge, but we managed to pull a few that way as well....... we were crispy burnt by 2PM and it was 100 degrees, so we called it a day. I'm certain the evening bite would've been hot. The weed beds are not quite in yet, but when they come in, the fish should concentrate a bit more.....
