Greg and Gary: Roosevelt - 10/12/2023

For quite some time, I’ve been hoping to get Gary on the water with me. We finally got a day when we could both head to Roosevelt. It had been nearly a month since I had been to Roosevelt, so I was interested to see if I could find fish in some of the same spots. When we arrived the lake was at full pool…up about 5 or 6 feet. The water temperature was 62 degrees…about 5 degrees cooler than my last trip to Roosevelt. When we pulled up to my first spot, I got two 17 inch walleyes in the first 20 minutes and marked several more on the Humminbird. The rest of the day was very slow. I got two more walleyes (22 inches and 15 inches) and Gary caught a 19 inch smallmouth.
