Allan at Moses Lake and Billy Clapp 6/8 and 6/9

Fished Moses Lake Friday evening 6/7 and Saturday 6/8. We pulled cranks in 10 to 30 feet of water. Caught nothing. On Saturday, we jigged and bottom bounced and picked up 1- 5inch walleye (year class of 2012).

Tried Billy Clapp for the first time on Sunday 6/9. With some suggestions from a local anger I met at the ramp, I motored down the lake. Less than a half hour into my first pass with bottom bouncers, I got a double (20 inch walleye and a smallmouth bass). I fished for another hour and a half with no bites. The water was very clear, and it is a scenic lake. I'll be back.
