Paul and Lynn at Porcupine Bay 6/5

We put in at Porcupine Bay on the Spokane Arm of Lake Roosevelt at 7 am and headed for Buoy Five. Trolled bouncers with blue blades and gold blades no action so trolled down and through the narrows with same results. Switching combinations of blades and beads did not improve the catch rate even though we were marking fish regularly.  Headed to Blue Creek to finish our day. After the same futile efforts, Lynn finally hooked a walleye. Then she hooked another and another and another and then another. Told her that the captain was doing a good job of putting her on fish. Lynn finally let me catch two fish so we ended up with seven in the boat. Blade color blue sparkle with blue beads and red center bead. Others we talked to caught no fish or only a couple. We had a great day and Lynn caught her first fish in our new boat and first walleye ever. Looks happy doesn't she?
