Greg: Roosevelt - 4/27/21
My father-in-law and I hoped to improve upon our catch from the previous week, but found it to be another slow day at Roosevelt. We launched out of Porcupine around 930 am and fished until 5 pm. We caught 9 walleyes and only kept 5 in the 14 to 18 inch range. There were only half the boats on the Arm as the week before, and anglers were scattered and frequently moving. By 3 pm, there weren’t many boats left on the water. I suspect fishing was slow for most of us. Water temp 49 to 50. Light winds and high, thin overcast. Water clarity 5 feet.
