I had errands to finish in the morning, so I didn’t get on the road until about 130 PM. It was a cold and windy morning, so fishing the afternoon and evening worked out fine. It took me about three hours to catch my first walleye, but ended the day getting 8 walleyes and 2 smallmouth bass. I was surprised to see the lack of boats on the lake. I covered a lot of water and only saw 3 other boats that were fishing on the Spokane Arm. Maybe the wind and the cold kept folks off the lake, but the afternoon and evening weren’t too bad. Water temp was 48 to 50. Lake level 1253 ft.
