Kettle Falls Picnic - June 9 - 13

We had a break from the rain Saturday and Sunday for camping, fishing, and socializing at the picnic. Thursday, Friday evening, and Monday were rainy. The lake level was 1268 ft on Thursday and rose to 1276 ft by Monday. There was a lot of debris in the lake and some of it was tough to see. Our club experienced 2 damaged props and a pair of broken transducers over the weekend. Fishing was spotty. While some members struggled to find walleyes, others experienced very good fishing.

Vince released this 25 inch walleye weighing 5lb 5oz

One of the walleyes caught on Allan’s boat on Friday.

Allan was surprised by this nice smallmouth.
