Club Fish Day - Pot Holes - 7/9/22

Turnout was very small. The Sweigerts, Hatchers and Bob Graefe with daughter and granddaughter. Bob came in from Kooskia, Idaho. Finally found the walleye in the shallows and the bite was on for about 3 hours while clouds were in. I and the wife caught 2 walleye and two small mouth bass in the shallows. Bob caught one walleye. It was very hot and lots of bugs in the parking/launch area. I have never fished the Potholes before, but I will go back again. We camped two days at Sampson’s Pit and two at Potholes State Park. The state park is very nice with full hookups available.
