Greg and Randy: Roosevelt - 7/16/2022

Randy from Cabela’s and I take a day trip each summer. It was good to catch up with him and talk about sports, family, and fishing. It took us a couple hours to locate decent numbers of walleyes, but once we did the action was consistent from late morning to early afternoon. By 3 PM, we had 17 walleyes in the livewell and released several smaller fish throughout the day. Randy caught a couple smallmouth bass including an 18 incher that weighed 3 pounds. Our average walleye was between 16-17 inches and the largest one was 20 inches.
