Dave and Greg: Roosvelt - 9/18/2022
With work and in-laws in town, I was only able to make it up to Gifford for one day of the Fall Camp Out. I arrived around 9 AM on Sunday to whitecaps and gusty north winds. After spending a couple of hours hanging out at the campground with club members, I hopped onto Dave’s boat to try to find some walleyes. Our first couple of spots produced nothing but a couple of 10 inch walleyes. By early afternoon, the wind decreased and we found a couple spots that held schools of decent sized walleyes. We ended up with 7 keeper walleyes between 15 and 19 inches. Dave also caught a large trout that gave him quite a fight.
