Greg and Gordon: Roosevelt - 9/19/2022

My father-in-law doesn’t fish much, but does enjoy visiting Washington and eating walleye. We headed to Porcupine Bay for a beautiful day at the lake. Gordon hooked up with a 19 incher within 5 minutes arriving at our first spot. I got a smaller keeper shortly after, but that was it for spot #1. Our next 3 spots produced nothing but a trout. Spot number 4 wasn’t a place that I have had much luck, but it did produce well for us this time. Once we arrived, it didn’t take long for Gordon to start putting fish in the boat. Within a couple of hours, we ended up with a dozen small keepers and a 13 inch perch. Gordon enjoyed catching walleyes, but he may have enjoyed eating walleye tacos the following day even better.
