It was a beautiful day to be on the lake! Bright sunshine, temperatures in the 50s, and light winds. The fishing was slow for us. We arrive at Ft Spokane about 930 am. The lake level was 1262 feet and dropping about a foot per day recently. We caught 3 walleyes on our first trolling pass, but ended up with only 7 keepers when we stopped fishing for the day at 4pm. The bite was light and the fish that we caught were deep (40-70 feet). The size of the walleyes we found was good with most between 16 and 20 inches. The water in the main lake was very clear. Water temperature was 40 degrees.
