Greg: Roosevelt - 3/30/2026

I had a short trip to Porcupine Bay. I noticed the sidewall on my trailer failing at the gas station in Airway Heights. I stopped at Schwab to install my spare tire and order a replacement for the failing tire. Since it was studded tire removal season, I ended up having to the work myself. I didn’t get to the lake until noon. I struggled to catch fish and quit at 6pm. I ended up catching 4 walleyes and 2 perch very full of eggs which I released. I was hoping for a more productive day, but am thankful that I didn’t blow a tire on my single axle trailer. Water clarity was good. Water temp 42 degrees. Lake elevation 1252 feet.
