Dan: Roosevelt - 6/2-4/2026

Fished out of Porcupine Bay, 6/2-6/4. This was the first time we’ve ever been to this area and we really enjoyed it.

The fishing was slow, but we averaged 7 walleye a day between 14” up to the largest at 16.5” with a number of smaller fish being released. Caught 3 clipped trout and a bunch of small mouth, largest being right at 3 pounds, didn’t keep any.

All in all we enjoyed the area and brought home enough walleye to have a family fish fry. I appreciate the reports posted by others and the friendly folks at the campground who provided insight into places to fish.
