Tim B and Family: Moses Lake - 5/10

Moses lake was slow all day..one 24"..few 18" plus..couple 14-16".. the fish were in  9-10' of water depth.... temp was 58 in the morning then got to 64...windy. We boated 28 keepers. We launched at Connelly park and went up lake. Fished the top of the lake where it goes to 4'-6' of water...too slow of bite...so went back down lake near the first bend from the launch (3miles). We found boats, and dropped in. My boy caught his first limit by himself on slow death hook and a watermelon power worm with black flake (which he picked over the purple, which was working til then) tippped with a crawler piece threaded ahead of the plastic..swivel,1/8th oz.split shot, 24"leader...both kids did well..orange spinner blades with orange beads and white smile blades with white and glow beads produced as well ..going back tomorrow.
