Greg: Snake River - 11/6

Made a last minute solo trip to the Snake River on Friday. It was foggy with drizzle the entire drive, but the sun was shining at the boat launch. I didn't even need my jacket for most of the day. I started fishing at 9 am and fished until 430 pm, and ended up catching 4 walleyes and 3 bass. Walleyes were 25.5 inches (5lb 13oz), 23 inches (4lb), 18 inches and 15 inches.

More Info for club members: I launched at Lyons Ferry and fished the water between Little Goose Dam and the mouth of the Tucannon. The bigger walleyes were caught trolling crankbaits in 25 feet of water. For the last 45 minutes of the day, I pulled a spinner along the channel near the Texas Rapids Campground and picked up the 18 and 15 inchers in 30 to 40 feet.
