Travis S: Snake River - 9/3

Arrived at KOA at 3:00.  On the water by 3:30.   The army Corps of Engineers decided to flush the reservoir and raised the water level 2-3 feet, two days ago....  I've never seen so much $#!* in the water.  It was worse than Roosevelt in late May......  Literally hundreds if not thousands of logs in the water ranging from 1 inch thick to whole trees 20 inches in diameter.  It made the going slow.  The water is way up, well in to bushes on the side and there was very little current until you were up at the dam....even then, I was able to get up to all three picnic shelters, using just my trolling motor.  Pulled six walleyes from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, all while trolling cranks.  Ranged between 16 and 18 inches..... Size 7 and 9 Flicker Minnows pulling both ways......
