Tom, Dianne, and Doug: Roosevelt - 6/7

Doug N. my wife and myself went to Lake Roosevelt on Thursday June 7. Gentleman's hours of course. Left the Ft. Spokane launch about 11:30. Beautiful day, light breeze. Headed for bouy 1, minimal debris in the water. Got there around noon commenced fishing, Doug pulled spinners, We pitched jigs, crank baits, and drop shot. The place was barren!! Doug finally headed to bouy 5, We moved down into the narrows, just as we got there, Doug called on the radio, fish were up there. So we headed up there.Since we were set up to pull spinners we fished them. White/Silver smile blade, blue beads white float on a harness. Consistent bite in 20-24 ft of water. Fished up and down stream, 200 yds above bouy 7 to about 600 yds below. Way pointed hot spot. 7 fish off 1 way point. Doug pulled a metal blade, same  area, Perch holographic same results, plenty of fish.

Left about 3:30 we cleaned 9 fish 15 to 18 inches. Doug cleaned 5 or 6 same size.

Talked a guy at cleaning station, he had limited at bouy 1 the day before but blanked there today. He limited at bouy 5 also.
