Doug N: Roosevelt - 5/30
5-30-19 Tom Fischer and I ventured forth to commit Walleyecide out of Porcupine Bay. Arrived 1000 hrs (gentleman's hours) and promptly launched. Tom went to the Blue creek area, and I went to the "narrows" above buoy #7. Tom could only find small fish, and soon joined me upstream. I had a 20" in the boat, and soon had two 18"s. Fishing was slow, but nice fish. I was pulling a slow death rig, color didn't seem to matter. Tom, (being a bass fisherman) threw everything but his anchor at them, and returned to buoy #7 where he found some 17's that hit a blade-bait. We both ended up at boy #7 pulling worm harnesses to put a few more in our boats. The day was hot, but the fishing rewarding.
