Fall Camp Out: Kettle Falls - 9/19-22/2025
We had very good weather Friday, Saturday and Monday at Kettle Falls with warm temperatures and mostly light winds. Folks caught walleyes, too. Gary and Nora had a very good weekend taking home 29 walleyes after 3 days of fishing. Greg and friends put 35 in the live well. Mike O, Chuck/George, and Bob G’s family enjoyed success as well. George, Chuck and Gary were masters of the grill providing burgers, hot dogs, and hot wings. The lake level was low with an elevation of 1279ft…about 9 feet below full pool. Most of the smaller boat launches like Evans, Marcus, and North Gorge were closed. Saturday was a busy day at the Kettle Falls launch with dozens of boats fishing for sturgeon and a walleye derby held by the Lake Roosevelt Walleye Club.
