Greg and Allan: Roosevelt - 6/8-10/2026

The walleye bite was very good between Northport and China Bend. We caught around 30 walleyes on our first day and the weather was perfect with a good deal of boat traffic. It rained all day on our second day, so we had no competition to the most productive fishing spots. We ended up catching and releasing 35 walleyes on day 2 before quitting at 1pm. We tried new spots on day 3, and struggled to put together a good pattern. We caught and released 7 walleyes and were off the water by noon. The water level was 1278 when we arrived and rose to 1280 by the time we left. The water temperature was in the lower to mid 50s.
