Glenn: Potholes - 9/4/2021

First trip for the year, the water is very low with a decent flow coming down Crab Creek. Started off jigging with an occasional toss of a blade bait. One bite, one ten inch large mouth. Switched over to trolling spinners and was rewarded with crappie, smallmouth, bullheads, bluegill, more largemouth but no walleyes. Was at a loss, never saw guys pulling plugs land a fish so stuck with it. Finally got first walleye around 11:00. By 2:00, had 8 eater walleye a couple of dink throw backs and a few crappie. Not what I hoping for but great day on the water. No wind I think hurt us, a little chop in the afternoon helped. Caught fish from 4 - 35 ft, from Crab to Winchester. Water was 67 at daylight and 73 by 4:00.
